Our team started out small, and we continue to grow our players and new coaches. Now with 7 teams, many new volunteer coaches have joined Zach and Carver on our our roster; Pat Howe, Brian Howe, Joe Howe, Brian Ballok, Jen Paule, Brooke Ayden, Jenn Dizes-Neir, Ken Price, John Fisher, Jermal Seward, Vikas Sommani and Justen Meyer.
We are also working with coaches from TOCA and STL FUTURES to work with us on a part time basis, supporting our skill development and field strategies.
If you’re interested in coaching on of our Spring 2025 teams, please reach out to us as we continue to grow the club with new players in various age groups!
About Carver, 2014 Spring Head Coach:
The game of soccer has always been a major part of Coach Shipman’s life. Carver has participated as a player, official, and more recently a coach starting in 2021 for Webster Groves SC before joining St Louis CITY SC for the birth of the CITY Futures Program.
Carver holds his formal Coaching Education through US Soccer and most recently acquired the C Coaching License, and will pursue the B License in 2025. He has been coaching Bayless High School since 2022 in JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach roles, and recently achieved the best record Bayless has seen in several years.
The two main priorities Carver asks of all of his players are effort and a good attitude. “I strive to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and encouraged to want to come to training to enjoy and invest themselves into a program. I always look forward to building relationships with the players and others involved in a program so we can all be part of leaving the game in a better place than where we found it.”
About Jasmin, 2017 Head Coach
Soccer has been Jasmin’s passion since the age of six when she first started playing in her hometown Munich in Germany, where she played for different club teams until the age of 18. During that time, Jasmin first started volunteering as an assistant coach for U-14 and U-16 soccer teams. After finishing High School, she later moved to the United States to play college soccer for the Harris-Stowe Women’s Soccer Team.
Since 2022, Jasmin has been coaching for the St. Louis CITY SC Futures Program, working with U-9 and U-11 teams. She has also been an assistant coach for local youth programs, including Elite FT and STL Lions FC.
Jasmin’s goal as a coach is to create an environment where players are excited to come to practice, and where everyone feels respected, motivated, and eager to give their best. She believes in building a strong, united team and helping players work hard to improve their skills. But as Brandi Chastain once said:
“Coaches can give you information, they can give you guidelines, and they can put you in a position. But the only person who can truly make you better is you.”
About our 2015 & 2016 Head Coaches
We recently formed an awesome partnership with some local soccer experts who have years of coaching experience in the SLYSA league and area competitive, as well as high school and college soccer. Pat Howe, Brian Howe and Joe Howe have joined as volunteer coaches, bringing with them 3 teams of excited and energized players in the U10 and U9 age groups!
