Welcome to TGSC your premier destination for soccer excellence in the heart of our neighborhood! We are a dedicated soccer club focused on providing young athletes a local, accessible, affordable and top-notch soccer experience.
At TGSC, we understand the challenges faced by families in our neighborhood when it comes to finding a soccer program for their aspiring athletes. Many existing options require long drives to the suburbs throughout the week, making it difficult for children to fully immerse themselves in the sport they love. Plus, club fees at our competition are often more than $1,200 before uniforms and travel – and that’s not something all kids can do. That’s why we decided to take matters into our own hands and create a club right here in our own backyard
Our mission is simple yet impactful: to establish a soccer club that meets the specific needs of aspiring soccer athletes, right in our neighborhood. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to play soccer in a supportive and professional environment, without having to travel long distances.
At TGSC, we prioritize the development of our young players both on and off the field. Our coach is committed to providing top-tier training that focuses on technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical fitness. Through age-appropriate drills, engaging practice sessions, and friendly competitions, we aim to foster a love for the game and help our players reach their full potential.
We take pride in creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported. Our club emphasizes the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth, instilling valuable life lessons that extend beyond the soccer field. We believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals who will become leaders, both in soccer and in their communities.
In addition to our commitment to player development, we are also dedicated to building strong relationships within our neighborhood. We actively seek partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and sponsors who share our passion for youth soccer and community engagement. Together, we can create a vibrant soccer culture that benefits our children and strengthens the fabric of our neighborhood. We have a volunteer run Executive Board for our established 501 (3)c, and we are proud to have established relationships with the Shaw Neighborhood Association, Window World St. Louis, Hampton Village Pediatrics, RIO Syrup Company, The Buddy Fund, Passback, CITY SC, South City Sporting Goods, SilverFox Marketing and Hunsinger Law Group to provide resources, advice and to help promote our club. To ensure we are reaching as many youth as possible within City limits that may want a club soccer experience, we have also established relationships with The International Institute and St. Louis CITY SC – FUTURES and Play On programs.
While we initially focused on providing exceptional soccer training in the U9 age group, our long-term vision includes expanding our program to accommodate additional age groups as we continue to develop and grow.
